We had a lovely day at the Club Open Show at Chieveley, the breed Judge was Mrs Jenny Miller (Feorlig) who drew a very good entry, Mrs Pat Cox (Tricianbri) judged the Welfare and JHA classes. There was a super atmosphere and the stalls (both club and welfare) did brisk business. Mary did an excellent job relieving you of your money for raffle tickets. Naturally the lunch break is much looked forward to as there is always a Delightful array of goodies on offer, thanks to Ian and Janet, Kirsty and Amanda and all the kitchen crew. Next years Open show will be held on the 21st May with Mrs J Thompson judging the breed and Miss F McWade judging the welfare and JHA classes. |

AGM and Eduction Day The AGM took place on 20th March at Chieveley there was a good number of members present. With very little business to conduct the Meeting was over in about half an hour. The new Committee for 2010 were elected and the accounts were accepted. Thanks and a small gift were given to the various helpers, who, in non– committee roles do so much for the club: Mrs Pearch, Miss Unwin, Mrs Wilson and Mrs Obbard. We had a cooked lunch waiting for us after the meeting and the afternoon proceedings consisted of the Kennel Club's Conformation and Movement Seminar, hosted by Mr N Bryce-Smith again this was well supported by members also with some visitors from other breeds. Your committee will be pleased to learn your views and opinions regarding the events and activities organised by the club. If you have any Ideas for improvement, please do let a committee member know that they may present your ideas at Committee meetings. |
