With a good entry of 171 dogs making 203 entries for judges: dogs - Miss V. Hourihane (Amscor), bitches - Mrs E. Bartram (Burghbridge) and BIS Mr P. Jolley (Rubio). The Judging took place in a relaxed fashion to allow everyone the chance to show their dogs if their classes clashed also giving the opportunity for everyone to watch the Limit and Open classes in each sex rather than run them together. Mr P Jolley took to the main ring to judge the JHA classes and the welfare classes and finally to judge Best in Show and all the other bests. Many congratulations to all the winners and especially well done to Best in Show CALAJOY ROBBIE MACFLUFF for taking his crowning 3rd CC giving him his Championship title (subject to KC approval). The various stalls did excellent business, especially the Club stall (David and Aubrey were holding their clearance sale with everything at half price) and Pat and Jenny on the Welfare stall where they took over £200 from the lovely dog beds Pat makes herself and sells for Welfare. The dressed oriental bear was won by Aubrey Malbon who guessed the bears name correctly, and the lucky catalogue holder was Margaret Orchard. Mary Melvin as usual did well to relieve everyone of their cash selling raffle tickets. This year, special prize cards in the shape of a Papillon silhouette were handed out and these were very well accepted as a memento of the show. The club has a very loyal membership that support all the events and along with all the other exhibitors, this is never taken for granted and the Committee very much appreciate the fact, their hard work is recognised, and we are always open to suggestions to improve or add new ideas.

Next years show will be held on 31st July and the judges will be Mrs P Munn (Dogs) Mrs J Banfield (Bitches) with Mr R Banfield judging Best in Show.
